Douglas Bothner, AIA, LEED AP

As Design Partner, Doug Bothner shapes the design direction of the firm’s projects. A leader in the studio for nearly two decades and Partner since 2015, he brings a deep appreciation for art, architectural history, and construction to every project. Doug’s work is defined by clarity of concept, simplicity of form, and an honest expression of materials. His award-winning residential designs have been featured in Dwell, Wallpaper, and other publications. Doug fosters strong collaborations with clients, consultants, and contractors to realize thoughtful, enduring architecture. He also serves on the board of Friends of the Jones Falls and has taught and reviewed at MICA, University of Maryland, Catholic University, and Morgan State University.
