Mapping 40 Years in Baltimore

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Ziger|Snead Architects has produced a limited-edition poster that captures the scope of the firm’s work across Baltimore. The two-sided design documents more than 130 projects completed over four decades, mapping their geography and chronology to create a layered record of design and community impact.

One side charts the firm’s portfolio across the city, illustrating patterns of investment and reuse, while the reverse lists current and past employees, acknowledging the collective effort that has shaped the practice. The poster debuted at the firm’s 40+ anniversary celebration as both an artifact and a reflection, highlighting the enduring role of architecture in connecting people, place, and history.
