The Trahan, Burden & Charles Building is the adaptive reuse of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in the Mount Vernon Historic District. The Adamesque façade dating to the 1920s was repaired. Aluminum storefronts installed during the 1960s were removed and replaced with windows which reveal the lobby to pedestrians on Charles Street. A steel and glass addition on the south façade opens up the interior of the building and allowed for installation of elevators. Conference rooms, offices, and workstations are designed to expose and reinforce the strength of the historic members and to reveal the workings of the ad agency. The construction of a state-of-the-art film studio, video editing area, and archives have allowed the firm to expand their multi-media services.
